open carry law...what do you think

So the texas legislature will be meeting soon and one topic to be discussed is open carry of handguns. Lets hear what everyone thinks.



Personally I am for concealed carry I feel everyone has the right to own guns and protect themselves, loved ones and their property.but I don't believe open carry is neccesary and will , initially, cause a ruckus.

I could see both sides. If you were to open carry, people would definately treat you different, but it could also put a target on you.

i think everyone should be forced to carry a loaded gun at all times......duh

What is the world coming to if you can't carry a gun in Texas?

By the way, did you notice all the sand people are caring assault riffles....

I have always figured that the right to bare arms was just incase all the politicians got out of hand....

I would have to vote yes. Only because I have a concealed license and if at any time someone "accidentally" sees my gun and reports me they can take my license away. For this reason I say yes it should be legal. It's a real pain when you are trying to hide a gun in your purse and your more worried about someone seeing it when you're trying to get your wallet out.

I vote yes but honestly I think open carry is a small issue.

We have the right to lug a rifle around already....don't see many expressin that one much around town.

i think he's talking about star wars. you know, tatooine. the reason people don't do that is b/c you'd probably get shot .just b/c we can doesn't mean the cops wouldn't say they were provoked.

People aren't accustomed to it so it will cause a disturbance....uh oh, now guess what? Open carry would be legal but you have now become a public disturbance along with all the other things they can tag you for now.
