Do you own one and if so tell me what you like / dislike about it.
    Thinking about buying one.

For those who dont know what it is...
About US Cloud Media Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 2012 as an entity consolidating the operations of Syabas Technology, bringing Popcorn Hour brand. The history of Syabas Technology can be traced back to 2001, whereby in the early years, the company quickly emerged as an early leader in the

For those who dont want to click the link.. this is a networked media tank.. it searches all your computers for movies, pictures etc., and can show them on your TV. Those of you who download all of your movies (of course self made on your camcorder) onto your PC, but always wanted to see them on the TV but didnt care to burn it to a DVD and carry said DVD to your TV. This is the device that will do it for you. You can download to its on board HDD (you install it so you can install today a 1.5TB hdd in the device which I will do) and this way it becomes like a movie storage place.. Remember you can connect to it via your PC so you can tell it to download the movie to the popcorn hdd..

Again I wanna know if anyone here has one and if so what you wish it had or what else you have to tell me about it.

I don't have one, but am a fan of things like streaming video/audio files, and media on demand.

I eventually want to go to something like this, but I'm curious - is this the same as a pc sitting by your tv, except its cut down on unneeded parts and has its own proprietary GUI/OS?

Pretty much.. but its even cooler than that I think :)

The Seagate 1.5TB drive has been tested and works in the device which means you get about 1.3TB drive space to put your movies on :) and you still can stream anything from any other PC in your house where you have downloaded material on too.. and you can also connect to a DVD-ROM drive on your PC and streams video from your PC's DVD

I think someone sent me the same link you posted a few months but i forgot about it. I think once I go 1080p, I'm going to look into something like this, but with the ability to store and play everything at 1080p.

I was second horse on the DVD bandwagon back in the 90's. I think for 1080p I'll wait a few more and let some more of the dust settle.

        But this looks very promising.

Well I hope to change out my sound system and add that here in a few months.
I really think that is all I really need to make all the media blasting I would ever need.
