  • Coupons for soldiers' families

There is an article in the American Profile pull-out in today's Galveson newspaper about a woman who has started a movement of Americans clipping grocery coupons and sending them to soldiers' families through the American Legion Auxiliary. I plan to send mine. If you would like to do the same, send your coupons to Kay McVey 3419 Polaris Drive, Ames, Iowa 50010. If you have anyone else on your e-mail list that might be willing to clip and send couplons, please forward this to them.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

    Excellent thread!
All men are created equal but his choices determine his value and what's in his heart determines his worth.

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"
