    Live child-birth.
    Holy Mother.
I have so much respect for any woman who has popped one of those out.

    I almost died.

I saw it four times when my ex gave birth to our kids; all natural, no drugs. Women are much tougher than us.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

How do you figure you got here? Easily said by someone who obviously hasn't been there. I've been there and children and child birth is a gift. One that should be appreciated.

Try delivering them yourself. I have deliverd 3 so far. 2 girls in the back of the Ambulance and 1 boy in the back seat of a compact car downtown in the middle of traffic. They almost named the boy after me. "That's a cool feeling"!!

I delivered my son with the help of the midwife. It was intense, graphic (didn't want to have sex for a while but I got over that) and a wonderful feeling to catch my son and hand him to mama.

It was a most special thing.

I didn't want to even talk to David for a week after seeing it.
