Body World...a true waste of money

Today, I went to see the exhibit at HMNS called Bodyworks.


If there were a way to get my $50.00 dollars back, I really would have tried to.

I did not see the aww factor in this show. I guess since I took advance Biology and Anatomy 1 and 2 in high school I was able to see more on field trips to Baylor College of Medicine and other places.

I went about a month ago and enjoyed it a lot. the beginning of it was boring, but towards the end it got pretty twisted which I found very cool. I thought of it as more of an "art show" rather than for medical viewing. If considered art---very cool, but if considered educational---not very informative

this one has been at the museum for about 5 months now at least, I think. this one has the "exploding man" , the baby portion, the ice-skaters, the skate-boarder, the baseball guy. if those where at the last one then this is the same on.

I dont remember seeing that one... my favorite was the exploding man, or the one where the guy was sliced up real thin in a bunch of pieces

ah i just checked, this time its body world 2... last time was body world 3... but it wasn't that expensive either...

This is a new one... the poker one was on the last bodyworlds.

I was not impressed either... I went with my girl and her sisters.... so x everything by 5.

$50? I didn't think it was that much to go to it. (I got to go for free on an educator's night for this one, which was nice)

I have been to both of them, and I think they're really interesting to see, on so many different levels. You can look at it from an art point of view, and A&P/Biology standpoint, and then there's also the whole idea of doing something like that in the first place.

I think that having the chance to see the inner workings of the human body articulated like that really is amazing, and even at $50, I would say it's worth it.
