  • I think I might be Jesus....

totally kidding, but something amazing happened tonight.

I have a medication tank set up in my room right now that is housing my sick Severums. Its a bare bottom 30g tank with a cave or two so they stay calm. I'm running an Ehiem 2217 on it with a large airstone sitting at the bottom.
Anyway, i took the airstone out so i could use the pump on my new toy i bought for my Mpimbwe, and my brother said, "you need the airstone in the medication tank" and of course i ignored him.
About an hour later, he starts freakin out cuz all the fish in the tank are laying at the bottom of the tank....oh, he is storing one of his large geophagus in the tank and it is upside down, floating on the bottom.
We yanked all the fish out, threw em in my 65g tank, and stared with anticipation. Luckily, the severums all perked up and started slowly regaining conciousness, but the geo was a different story. He literally laid upside down on the bottom of this tank for about ten minutes and was not breathing. I had given up and planned on flushing his big ***. I went outside to smoke a cigarette before doing the awful deed of flushing, and when i came back, my brother was holding the fish in the water and it was BARELY breathing. it wouldnt move, except for its mouth. I thougtht, surely not, but the damn thing started fighting back.
Then, as a smart *** joke, i pointed at the fish and asked Jesus to make the fish start swimming. (i'm kind of a skeptic when it comes to the whole Jesus/Bible story) but i'll be damned if the fish didnt start swimming like two minutes after that. Its perfectly fine now, its eating and everything.

Either Jesus is real and was trying to prove a point, or i might have superhuman powers......that'd be cool.

      Rhett,

There's a little bit of Jesus, our Father, and the Holy Spirit in all of us.
We may not be able to feed all of Humble with a loaf of bread, but with just a inkling of real faith, we can work small miracles of our own.

Now can you come over and bless my Dubs for me...

Trust the plus Rex, Jesus is real and I would venture to say that your experience was, in deed, an exercise in which He was showing you that in a very tangible way...kinda like Him speaking to you in a language that you could only understand. So you gotta give Him his props!!! I could go on and on, but the Bible says (Jesus even said it Himself)...and I'm paraphrasing..."a person's testimony is the best way to spread the Good News (message of Christ)". The Bible calls it The Great Commission, but Jesus simply asked "Who do YOU say I am?"
