May I ask why we started this new forum? I have a bad feeling that this forum is gonna do more harm than good. I know in the rules it says that whatever happens in this forum stays in this forum, but as I'm reading some of the comments being posted, i'm started to see some of our members in a whole new light. The next time I see some of these people, i'm afraid its gonna be awkward knowing how they feel about racism, illegal aliens, etc. My views and your views dont have to be the same but now that i KNOW they are different.....I dont know. I dont think this forum was such a good idea.

Would you be willing to elaborate? I ask because if I have said anything that you feel has changed your opinion of me, then I would like the opportunity to address any concerns point by point.

If it's because EK is Asian, well there's nothing that can be done about that. We all have to deal with it JK EK

that is the beauty of freedom speech. someone's opinion would not shape my views of them. If everyone did not have different opinions, then we would all be the same!

I got on this site because it was a fun place to talk to other people about fish. It's my number one hobby as I'm sure it is for alot of others on this site and i'm looking at the "new post" tab today and everything is about world news and current events.

cms6175 is right, we are entitled to our own opinions and maybe we shouldnt judge people based on their opinions, but lets face it, we do. I do. If you come to me preaching the bible or telling me that tattoos and stretched ears are ugly...i'm not gonna like you based on your opinions.

I just have a bad feeling that things wont be as friendly once we know everything about each other.

I understand these concerns, I know from experience that there are times when words and feelings can be mis understood on the net, but I personally feel, that the box was in need of something fresh and new to maintain it's membership attendance.....everyone loves a good stimulating conversation, the trick is to keep it civil.


I would like to thank Traci personally for making the " box " a bigger and better place AGAIN.

Thanks for pointing this out. Traci is going to turn off the "What's New" updates to this forum.

And personal attacks won't be tolerated. This is a place for differing opinions and honest, intelligent (hopefully) conversation.
