She stated that when asked for her SS#, she told them she didn't have it. They still enrolled her so it must be legal.

She state's that her family is here legally by our government.

Our government issued her a green card.

Its restricted now but we, the United States of America, is a melting pot. Somewhere in our past, unless you are a indian, our ancestors were immigrants. That said, point your anger and frustration at the government not the people (illegal aliens) trying to reach for a better life.

She paid tuition to the college! The college does not care whether she is legal or illegal, or if the student graduates! Its income for the college.

I tried to have individuals donate to the "Starving Sunrise College Fund", but alias no takers ever! I did receive words of encouragement along with laughter though. I didn't even receive a warm beer for my effort!

I'd give you money, but you'd spend it all on beer.

This kind of thing happens all the time. While I was at A&M about 3/4 of the Graduate Students are foreigners. Why is this? Because they get special scholarships and special rates because A&M wants more diversity, and American Students typically get their 4/5 Bachelor degree, and then get a job. The foreign students do not. The only way they really get employed is if they stay in school and get the pHD. And if all else fails, they beome a professor. Which in turns..means they spend their own grant money on those from their own countries to to school and enter the graduate programs.

At one point I worked 6 concurrent jobs while getting a degree in three separate counties. 50-70 hrs a week I did graduate with 15 dollars to my name and no debt though. I do not suggest attending college this way, one only takes tests. sunrise
