So using this logic, what Kanye West said was bull $hit too because it wasn't only Black's effected in New Orleans by Katrina but I didn't hear anyone coming to the defend GW.

As for Katrina, there was no way to know until a few hours before that Katrina would hit New Orleans unless you are implying that George Bush controlled the weather. Example: Hurricane Rita caused millions to evacuate Houston and guess what... It didn't hit the Houston area.

Hold on! Apparently you all feel the need to throw race into this for what I don't know. But lets gather fact from fiction.

1. The entire fishing community in the affected area is not 100% white.
2. BP lease the rig from Transocean. Transocean register the rig in the Marshall Islands .

This is done to allow drilling in the Economic Development Zone (200 miles off the coast line) The Deepwater Horizon was located about about 40 miles from the Louisiana coastline. 16 miles beyond the 24 miles boundary ( territorial and contiguous zone). Which the Sate of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida is only concern with the first 12. Each state don't want to give way to Federal control due to they will be sitting on the sideline watching (Governors). So the responsibility to take care of this rest squarely on BP and Trans ocean (Based out of Houston) CEO's to deal with. You do know they are both white males right!?!?!? The government is doing what it can now but how do you battle something thats in international waters? Or property that is not register in the US?

Hmmm, your peanut comments is really false. The US government allocated funds to repair the levees years ago. Knowing that a storm like Katrina could cause them to fail. Federal funds are given to the state not a city mayor. This would have been consider a state project since the levees hold intra coastal waterways for the State of Louisiana. The State of Louisiana squander the money not Nagin.

NOAA prepares a report for the President Cabinet every 12 hours to 4 hours when a hurricane is approaching the US. These reports contain chances of landfall, estimated winds, storm surge and etc! These reports made it to the President. They were sent to FEMA instead . We all know what happen after that.

Another note is this the most confrontational president we have had? I mean several times he has during his speech confronted protesters and hecklers. If this was Bush or any other president would we have stood for this? I mean Bush had someone throw a shoe at him and barely even said anything about it. Are you 100% sure that the city is not given any money? I know Houston gets money from the state to fix issues with drainage back from the Tropical Storm that the name is escaping right now.

FEMA is the agency that is in charged of taking care of the issues related to the Hurricane. So what was Bush supposed to do? He let a federal dept charged with handling handle it. Also the states and local governments are charged with taking care of the situation as well. If you remember during Ike we had the same problems in Houston with FEMA. The difference was that Texas and Houston were more prepared and have a better government then the corrupt NO and LA. Not Bush's fault that Ray Nagin is an idiot.

Not disrespect its called civil opposition, we are allowed to do this. Most presidents would let security handle their business and continue on with their speeches over the issues. Not this one.
