I wouldn't say that it was that on anything other than one man taking a speech out of context. almost as soon as it came out many conservatives said the government over reacted and that her speech was wa good speech -
He didn't take it out of context. He purposely edited the video in order to misrepresent it's content. He was trying to expose racism and corruption in the NAACP, so he edited the video and posted it on his blog. After that, Fox News picked it up and while they never aired it on television, they did put the video up on their website.Haiku's are easy

I thought he just cut the clip short and took it out of context. He didnt move parts around and made up a new clip. That was my understanding. So Fox News posting it was bad oversight on the part of the internet department for not fully fact checking the story but it never reached prime time or headline news. But thats it news medias throughout the world in this digital age of getting the news out fast make these mistakes and it wasnt just Fox News either.Comment

By all means it wasn't just fox news on that one. A womans life was made a living hell because of this, and I personally think that Tom Vilsack should be forced to resign. But then you look at it along with the one about the ACORN stings (which Fox News also reported on continuosly at the time) it really makes me wonder. That's 2 big "oversights" too close together. And truthfully, even with as old as, it is the one about ACORN really boiled my blood. This organization was essentially shut down because of the lies depicted during the alleged "sting" opperation.Haiku's are easy

The fallout over this firing/ resignation is just beginning! Let see where it leads or sticks too. I would bet that there maybe a lawsuit or a threat of one in the works. I enjoy the back pedaling that is presently going on. sunriseComment

honestly, I doubt that she will sue. But I will say this..she going to get a nice raise lol. New organization have always taken stuff out of context. Fox is just notorious for taking it to the extreme sometime.
As for Tom Vilsack.. He should have done more due diligent before he made her resign.
ACORN..when you look at a large volunteer based organization, you are prone to have a few not fully knowledge. I feel that Fox or somewhat set all that up.Comment

ACORN wasnt just a few not knowing what they were doing it went all the way up. The founder was profiting off of it. The NAACP should be ashamed of themselves as well since they wanted so badly to prove that they werent racist after they called out the Tea Party which is deplorable. NAACP made the mistake of calling for her resignation and now they are back pedaling bad. The tea party is a mixture of races to begin with.....and like any other large group/s of people, your going to get all kinds of folks with all kinds of beliefs and passions.....the tea party is just a thing if you will ....

Possibly the whole thing from the Democrat from Missouri that claimed a Tea Party member yelled racist slurs at him was never proven to have happened. So is the Democratic party racist because it had a KKK member in its ranks? No every party has people that have views some maybe racist views but that doesnt make a party or an organization racist.
