If you believe the news, yes. If you check the facts, no. There were no females medics working at our station the day in question. Also HPD was called at her request to the scene but no report was filed. Finally, she literally lives across the street from KPRC.

The tape of the Black lady supposedly being a racist. Charles said that the NAACP released the tape. I asked why did they release it in the first place? What was the purpose of its introduction to the media?

Chas...Obama is an american. He was born on american soil. Don't twist it. Comparing a country to a state is not the same
His Father was a Kenyan citizen and his Mother was a US citizen. So yes, while he was born in the US, he was the son of a Kenyan national so referring to him as African in any way is hardly racist. If that is racist, then I would contend that it is equally racist to refer to any of our mutual friends with Hispanic parents as Mexican. We both know better.

As for the last picture which is the ONLY one that can be considered racist and MAYBE tied to Tea Parties, well I did my homework. The guy in the picture was thrown out of a Tea Party event and the Tea Party Disavowed any connection to him on 2/27/09.

As we reported Friday, a photograph of Dale Robertson, the self-proclaimed founder of the Tea Party movement, belies his claim in the Washington Times that he's "never seen any racial slurs" at Tea Party events. The photo shows Robertson holding a sign with the n-word on it. In an exclusive interview with Mediaite, Robertson claims that the photo was fake - though our expert analysis suggest otherwise.

There are those who want to make the Tea Party look like a band of rable rousing rednecks if they can, it is not beyond the scope of our government to use their own people to infiltrate the ranks of the tea party and cause trouble to make the good tea party members look bad...these individuals are referred to as provocateurs.....

A little more on Obama being African and how I contest referring to that fact is in NO way racist because 1) His Father was an African Citizen 2) see below...

This is directly from the web site of the Church he attended for 20 years, was married in and had his children baptized in.

          "Our History,
We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.
Read the Black Value System Here."

So I ask this question. If he is a member of a group that calls themselves "An African People", how can it be racist for anyone else to refer to him as an African person?

If the Tea Party came out with a stance that it existed to promote whites, would that be enough to condemn it as a racist organization?

I would personally say yes on principal but in practice, that would be another question given the ridiculous extent that other organizations have gone to in the name of advancing other races.

What I find interestingly ironic in all of this is...

The continued mis use of "The Race Card" only diminishes the power it once held. By over using it (or as in the case of this thread, mis using it then failing to provide adequate proof to support it's use), the taboo of questioning it's use is further lifted.

Yes, continued mis use of the race card. Claiming Tea Parties are racist and not being able to provide any real proof. I have debunked all of the ridiculous pictures posted as not racist or not associated with Tea Parties.

                  Breakdown by image...
Image 1. "Lyin African" - Not Racist (See discussion about Obama being African)
                  2. "What you talkin bout willis" - Not Racist. Simply quoting a black TV character is not racist
                  3. "Monkey see, monkey spend" - Not Racist. Any reference to monkeys being racist is absurd. Monkey Business, Ape $hit, Barrel of monkeys. Are these all racist now?
                  4. Obama mugging Uncle Sam - Not Racist. The robbing or mis treatment of Uncle Sam has been used since the 60's toward white politicians
                  5. Obama as a Witch Doctor - May be slightly racist (He is African) but this is not associated with the Tea Parties.
                  6. Kenya Missing village idiot - Not Racist. Again, Father from Kenya and calling someone an idiot is not racist.
                  7. Michelle Obama with monkey face - I believe this is racist and I find it offensive but is not from Tea Parties
                  8. White Slavery - May be racist but only if you are willing to conceded Jesse Jackson was being racist with his reference to Slave/Master in the Labron James incident, otherwise you don't get to claim racism here.
                  9. The last one with the N word - Racist. I don't know what it means but I don't accept the use of the N word. That said, this man has been thrown out of Tea Party events and has been disavowed by the Tea Party. Not Tea Party Affiliated.

NAACP claiming the scientific use of "Black Hole" on a greeting card is racist = Absurd

This is all so laughable it is more like a SNL skit than a real discussion.

Vice President Biden said Sunday that neither he nor the president thinks the Tea Party is a "racist organization," after the NAACP voted Tuesday to condemn the "racist elements" in the conservative activist movement.

Black members of tea party dispute racist claims

By PHILIP ELLIOTT, Associated Press Writer Philip Elliott, Associated Press Writer – 40 mins ago
WASHINGTON – Black members of the tea party movement on Wednesday rejected charges that the group's activists are racist, saying they oppose President Barack Obama because of his policies not his skin color.
The members gathered at a Washington news conference in the wake of allegations about its rank and file, heightened by the recent split with a Tea Party Express leader who had posted a letter on his blog written from "Colored People" to Abraham Lincoln. The post suggested that black people would choose slavery over having to do real work.
The black members said the racism that has been attributed to the tea party movement came from outsiders who infiltrated the groups to discredit their work and it should be rejected.
"These people do not oppose Barack Obama because of his skin color. They oppose him because of his policies," said Lloyd Marcus, a spokesman for the group.
The NAACP last month approved a resolution condemning racism within the tea party movement and called on activists to "repudiate the racist element and activities" within the political movement.
At the news conference, several members assailed Obama and the Democrats, often in harsh terms.
"Democrats have re-enslaved America," said Kevin Jackson, president of the Black Conservative Coalition. He said tea party activists, if successful, would reduce the size of government and set in motion another Emancipation Proclamation, the document that President Abraham Lincoln signed that effectively ended slavery.
"This time, even the white folks get freed," said Jackson, who accused Obama of viewing fellow blacks as "mongrels."
Democratic National Committee spokesman Hari Sevugan declined to respond to the tea party leaders' criticism. The White House also declined to comment.
Other tea party speakers called Democrats white supremacists and elitists. Conservative Moms for America leader Mary Baker said Democrats were pushing "anti-God politics."
"Destroy America. That's what the D in Democrat Party means," she said.
Alan Keyes, who unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate against Obama in 2004, said the president "got elected on a virulent form of racism" by exploiting his race during the 2008 campaign.
The Tea Party Express, one of dozens of libertarian-leaning and anti-tax groups, organized the meeting with reporters to denounce racism and then accused its opponents of using allegations of racism to censor dissent.
