For all of you who think Obama isnt spending enough or that Bush spent too much. While I do believe Bush became a liberal in his second term, his spending is dwarfed by President Obamas spending. Bush spent over $800 billion on Medicare which is more than he spent on both wars. Obama in his first 2 yrs in office will have spent more than Bush did in his 8 years in office and this includes war spending in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush add $2.5 trillion to the national debt in his term in office. Obama through his spending plans will add $4.9 trillion by 2016. Obama's stimulus spending in the almost 2 years he has been in office has spent more than Bush spent on the two wars from 2002 - 2008.

Liberals? We have liberals? Perish the thought.
Personally, I'd like to see us stop sending money to foreign governments. This would cut spending. Also, cut some of the entitlement programs... free meals at schools, welfare and anything else that becomes a permanent handout to the lazy people who use it as a crutch for as long as they can. I'm sick to death of going to work every day, only to find people still in bed at noon with the air conditioning turned down to 60F in public housing.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
