    Mortgage finance giants Fannie and Freddie have asked taxpayers to pick up $160 million in legal fees owed during civil lawsuits, the New York Times reports.

    I feel partly responsible for this.....

    But then again, foreclosure is a harsh remedy and they should do it right.

      I'm sure they would take a check from you.....oh...wait....I think they already got our check.....yes...yes...they did....to the tune of 700 billion last year.....but I guess they need just a little bit more to get by their legal troubles caused by their shady doings......what they heck...send em another check anyway.....smiles.
