Predictions for this summers gas prices...?

    Predictions for this summers gas prices...?

    Well....let's assume that we are not in another world war by summer time, what do you suppose our local gas prices will be, say by the 4th of July?

    I'll say 3.45

    Food prices will most likely follow the trend....

    I predict $3.80 and increasing concerns and unrest in the middle east.

    Food prices are already on the rise and will continue to go higher as the cost to transport rises with gas prices and as the cost to process and package food rises with the price of oil. Remember, all that plastic/rubber/pesticides/etc... needed to produce/package and deliver food products are made from oil and oil by products.

      Oh yea... I also predict that there will continue to be zero Bush era outrage from the media and the left about the price of fuel/goods even though Obama's policies regarding drilling in the Gulf of Mexico has a direct impact on our ability to reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

            Gas was 2.92 yesterday at the little store on the corner near my house......2.97 today.....ohoh.....

              Crude Oil hit $100 a barrel today. Libya blew up today. Protests planned in Saudi Arabia for March 11th. Gas will be around $3.30 and climbing by the end of March.

                    2.99 now at the little corner market today...think I will go spend 30 bucks on some gas while I can still afford it....

                    The market just raised their price this afternoon to 3.02 now.....it was 2.99 just 4 hours ago.....

                        The price was going up even before Libya's unrest... from nervousness. That's one of my favorite excuses. Ironic that when we had the gulf spill going on at millions of barrels the price didn't move. Guess that would have been unpolitical to raise the price while a disaster is going on. Wait... isn't disaster what we've got going on now in the middle east? $4.00 before October 7th.

                          And the news of Libya shutting off all oil exports just an hour ago. I think we'll see Steve's $3.25 this weekend.
