I was in the state guard before i went active duty. We did things like that all the time the uniform presence detered alot of people from acting stupidmmm...pancakes -

I do however respect the service our troops are providing, my real concerns are their future orders.

Its state guard. They are a volunteer organization, the only time we ever got real orders was to run the shelters after katrina.mmm...pancakesComment

Again, I'm not picking on the guard, I'm questioning the need to have any uniforms on display in that kind of enviornment. Kind of like the para military police at the recent pro choice rally in Virginia. Won't be long till you can't tell the LEO from the Militay. See the examples below.
