Calling all Atheists! =)

Just curious to see who else here is an Atheist.

But let me clarify before going any further what I mean by Atheist since *a lot* of people seem to be confused as to what the "belief" of an atheist is.

Atheist:

Someone is disbelieves a god or gods exists.

That's it. Nothing else links Atheists together but this.

Personally I'm an Agnostic Atheist.

I don't believe god can be Proved or Disproved, and I don't believe a god exists.

I also believe that if god of the Abrahamic Bible did exist, I would be Better off Damned, because an Eternal Punishment for finite crimes is not something a benevolent deity would lay upon us. On Principle, I would not spend an eternity worshiping and singing to this being.

Looking forward to seeing who else here also disbelieves in the Sky Daddy/Momma. =)

Roman Catholilicism will a lot of people change their minds about God. My belief is, which is more far fetched? To believe like Darwin, that we evolved from apes, and the rest of the apes are stuck in their ape form? To believe that the Big Bang created such a sophisticated world and universe? Or to believe that indeed God, a being, created another being? Einstein once said that darkness, cold, nor evil exist, but they are the absence of light, heat, and God respectively. He also said science without God is lame.

Humans did not evolve from apes; that's not at all what Darwin believed. Present day apes and humans have a common ancestor. Apes are not stuck in their ape form.
