Picture icon for each forum?

Guys,

So I have notice for a while that our forums do not have an icon. Each forum has the standard "fishbowl" icon.

I was thinking it would cool to use the pictures from POTM as the icon (if possible that is).

Example, if there was a tropheus that won POTM then it would be the icon for the African cichlid forum until another cichlid from Africa wins POTM.

What do you guy think?

If I'm understanding correctly, you are saying that you'd like to see the Status Icons for each forum changed periodically.

There is a lot of work that would go into making this happen.
- template modification
- photo resizing and manipulation to create 2 versions of the file (one to show New Posts, and one grayed out to show No New Posts)
- additional work to make sure these changes aren't overwritten during software upgrades.

There's just a lot of work behind the scenes that would have to happen to do this, and it would be on-going work...not just a one time change.
