Cannot login in from home!

I been getting this error message like i'm trying to hack the site. I sent an email to the webmaster but the problem is still there!

I have been getting it off and on lately too.  Got it last Saturday and yesterday too.  I spoke with a few people that have been getting the same error message.

Delock - The issue lies in someone on the comcast network (yes I have comcast too) are port scanning the server that this website resides on.  They are most likely not interested in hacking the houstonfishbox, but one of the at least 205 other websites that resides on that box.

I don't think it matters what provider you have it's where HoustonFishBox resides.  I think it's a problem that is happening across the board for all members.  I spoke with a few guys over the weekend that have had the same issues.

My issues usually last a day and then it's back on.  Maybe we need to pool together some resources ($$$$) and help Ken get Fishbox moved to something more stable.

interesting, cus i havent ad any issues, had something like that happen for aquaticplantcentral though.  couldnt go through the main link so now i have favorite link to a subforum    that solved my issue, maybe try that with fishbox, just add a link to a forum thread instead of main site.

and just do a search for a topic you know is on the site to get that link if you cant connect directly that day. that way a link will be found in the internet search.

I tried to go through the link to a PM in my email inbox and it did the same thing.  Others may have better luck though.

Taipan - I am pretty sure looking at the website that shows the block, it is IP based blocking and they block anything in that block.  Most of these type of programs will block a class C or B when they scanned.   The servers that hosts these websites usually have a tool that looks for these scans and blocks immediately ranges of IP's that have scanned that area.
If it occurs to much then the best thing to do is ask the provider to be moved to another server because the server that they are on are getting scanned way to much and causing to many people from being blocked.  Its one of those situations that are not easy for a person who wants to have a website hosted.

I found the way to get around it...
Since I started off with Roadrunner, I still have an active aol account (which i think you can get for free now) and I access HFB via the browser there.

I can never get on any more... I'm at Tiapan's house now....
