Well I read that if anyone had any suggestions or comments to post in the section so I decided to start a thread up. I like the new layout, nice touch. I dont know if its my comp or if anyone else is seeing this but some of the links that have pictures are not showing the pictures for example the "post topic" doesnt show an image. It justs has the red X like there should be one and says post topic.

Darbex, I am using Firefox and I dont have the problem you are talking about. If I use Internet Explorer I see the issue you are referring to. I have also noticed that the top posts are not showing in Firefox, but they are in Internet Explorer.
Sadly I dont know PHP-BB well enough to know if there is a difference on how it displays information etc..
I am going to make a search on Google to see if there is something that has to be made different in PHP-BB to fix the issue.
Reason I am bring this up is because it looks like Ken when having to upgrade the site also took advantage of a newer version of PHP-BB and upgraded it too :) I like it much more
For anyone who is having display problems may want to assist Ken and at the same time report the following information to see if there is a trend.
OS : WinXP
Browser : Firefox 2.0.0.7
-- I dont see the top posts.. only see those in IE.. but this was also an issue before the site went down. It was not until I used IE that I noticed the feature there.
Personally I dont care, therefore I am not going to complain about it. All the post reply / New topic buttons show for me in Firefox but not in IE 7.

Darbex... PHP-BB is the underlying software that makes up the forum. It has a set of rules guiding you though it. You will notice at the VERY bottom of the the pages the following lines :: fisubsilver shadow phpbb2 style by Daz :: PHP-Nuke theme by coldblooded (www.nukemods.com) :: This is a basically the copyright line for PHP-BB and PHP-Nuke... you will notice it says phpbb2 which equates to PHP-BB ver2. I used to run a BB (Forum) back in the day and its what I used.. but you can modify it from here tilll Friday, but somethings never change. The version Ken is running is a modification available at www.nukemods.com which is why its listed.
So in short.. The HoustonFishbox is a Forum being run on a server using the software package named PHP-BB - see http://www.phpbb.com/
I will make the best guess and say there is something in the forum code that is causing most of the issues you are seeing with the forum today.
Last but not least... best viewed in Firefox or another non-microsoft aka IE browser.

I dont have any problems viewing on IE7 or Netscape.

don't know if others see this but at the bottom of each reply the boxes are a box w/ red x straight across from the "back to the top" tab also between the last reply and the Page 1 of 1 / quick reply box all boxes are little square w/ red x's

Ok downloaded Firefox and its better than IE it fixed all my problems I was having like red x's and half pages. So I recomend that if anyone is using IE and are having issues to download Firefox. Thank you Jesper.Comment

that doesn't make sense to have to download that onto my computer.....i still see the same thing here at work.....ken fixy this please so i don't have to download more crap to my home computer....they wouldn't do it here if i paid them to....so at work it's just going to be 1/2 paged i guess.....
