Temp bans and perma bans?

I was just wondering, how many temp bans can you receive before you catch a permaban? I thought it was only one, but I know for sure I'm wrong as members have proven that for me (recently and in the older threads from way back).

Infractions and bans are based on a points system. Points expire after a certain amount of time. So it all depends on frequency and level of infraction.
