old pool filter

My pool filter is too old. And it works not good. I want to buy a new filter, but I see, there is a very big choice of them. How to opt the good one, and which brand is better? Size 22'x40'. Thanks in advance

Ive been in the pool industry for over 20 yrs, and find the Hayward products to be the best and longest lasting. Be sure to size it correctly for your pool. Bigger is better :)

Also, go with a sand filter, the cartridge filters have expensive media, and does no better job.
