Trouble Browsing

From time to time, and more so lately (last few weeks) I have been experiencing some difficulty when trying to browse over the box, sometimes when I try to go to the forum page, it will take a long time to switch over to it. This happens when changing from one page to another, isn't just the forum page too.

Sometimes it will actually time out and give me a page cannot be found 404 error..etc....

Is there something we can do or is this just me, and my system here? ....This is the only site I have this issue with.

I can attest to the same issues as well.  Depending on whether I'm at work or at home, the timeouts happen more frequently.

I'm just glad it's not just me...

I was not going to say anything publicly, but I PM'd Mzungu to look into it.

Look at the bottom of the page and see where it says   [ Page Generation: 1.20 Seconds | DB Queries: 54 ]... I mailed her with messages of 27.6 and 28.4 seconds to load... which is a little extreme for me.  Normal webpage speed should be less than 3 seconds.  Since I am in IT they say people will gripe something is slow once they wait more than 3 seconds for a page to load.

** PS it took 10.1 Seconds for this message to be saved to the server... **

yeah. me too. man.  i though my comp was a POS.  i was gonna reformat mine and see if it was me.  well im glad its everyone.  lol

I'm experiencing the same thing at work and home.  I feel like I'm on a dial-up connection sometimes....its frustrating!

Happening here to as well.

Making me mad that I cannot cycle thru the pages.  Really frustrating when I come in from the weekend and cannot see all the posts.

At first I thought it was EK's phone sucking up all the bandwidth..but..guess not...

My phone whizzes through the pages!

I have been getting a "plug-in 401 required" message occasionally and sometimes the thread folder image doesn't show but when I click full page view on my phone it goes away.
