Non-photosynthetic corals keepers!

Just wondering if anyone is keeping some azoos. Please do post some pictures and post how you are feeding them.

I'm thinking about getting some. Haven't decided what kind yet so I'm keeping my eyes open.

i've got some sun coral....i feed them brine shrimp. fish/shrimp will pick all the food out of it when fed so i cut off the top off a water bottle drilled a hole in the cap and i place it over the corals while feeding. gonna post a pic in a min.

just until they finish eating and no scavengers can steal their food... i got the idea from melevs reef hes the man

Can sun corals be sustained long term on just brine shrimp?

i've had mine for about a year now and thats all i've ever feed them

How many heads has it grown since then?

I'm looking into getting some sun corals and some small gorg but haven't figured out how to feed them.

Good idea with using the top of the bottle.

probably ten new heads.. although they are still smaller than the older ones that were there when i got it

I bet it would grow faster if you fed more.

Would this work on other zoas to get them to grow faster? I was thinking about doing the same thing with my corals and using the zooplex

the only problem with that is that your broadcast feeding and polluting your water

been reading the sun coral are hard to keep...

not in my experience... just feed it and provide it with clean water, just like everything else in the tank.
