Can rics do good with a 9w 50/50 bulb in a 3G tank? I was thinking of making Sonjas 3G JBJ a miny coral only tank and was leaning towards a colorful ric garden.

man, 9w is low even for a planted tank.
They might live. Rate of growth is going to be retarded slow.
Color might be weak too cause of the bulb selection.

I was able to get HM to grow and produce visible oxygen with a 9w Realux bulb and no CO2. They one thing though is its next to a window that is open that gets sunlight tooComment

Don't think those are the high out put ones.
