you can purchase pods in a bottle....kind of expensive though. CP sells them there up by the cash register in the refridgerator.

Yeah, that will work too if the mandarin has taken to frozen pods. Most, at first, will only want to eat live pods.

What do pods eat? Wonder if I can put them in 1g tank. And grow them like the snails for the puffer.

Pods eat all kinds of things. It also depends on what type of pods too. I know the pods I see in my tank are going crazy population bloom but I have read the Isopods eat anything they can get a hold of.

Ok I got my mandarin today. It looks kinda skinny but it was the fattest one in the tank. I hope I got the right one. Right now it looks like it is eating the pods already in the tank so I'm hoping I can fatten him up. Only time will tell.
