      really? so thats what makes our flounders tasty... lol...
      i forgot... a couple of years ago i was fishing when the water was flat green/clear, off of surfside jetty i've caught green/olive color pistol shrimp b 4... there were loads of them hang out in groups towards dusk snapping their asses off... i placed one in my tank and never saw it again... but when the lights goes off I hear the snapping every so often, then i recently moved to northside... i dont hear the snapping anymore...

        I have a pair of Chasmodes longimaxilla...Well I only have the male now, as the female was eaten by the Histrio. He is actually a nice looking blenny. See if I can get a decent iphone pic.

          Caught a bunch of Parablennius marmoreus, a pair of 1" Chaetodipterus faber, and other misc unidentified stuff in the tide pools around 91st Street.
