Saltwater tank question

I bought a saltwater setup already running, live rock, sand, ect. I had to break everthing down to transport it and was only able to keep about 10g or so plus the water on the rock, of the water from the setup, the rest of the water that's in there now I bought mixed from aquarium world. A few pieces of the rock has corals on them and I seperated them, was wondering how long should I wait to put the pieces of rock with corals on them in the tank?

ASAP if the only other option is to leave the rocks in a bag or a bucket.

+1 on the ASAP get those things back in a running tank soon anything will be better than a bucket
