I tend to forget that those Centropyge angels are not always reef-safe, and whenever I think about doing a reef tank, I want to put one in there. This is a good reminded to me that it might not be a good idea. Glad you were able to catch it.Tell your boss you need to go home to take care of your "cichlids." It sounds an awful lot like "sick kids." )

Yeah no more with caution fish in this tank. I will only attempt it on a small tank. But this tank is to large to be messing with trying to get out a nuisance fish.

I started dosing with algaefix on Sat to get the hair and red algae under control. I read a lot about people using it with great success so I decided to give it a try. After my Sat dose I have noticed that the hair algae growth has slowed considerably, enough that my urchins are able to start making a dent in it. However, the red algae is still about the same. I have a second dose today, I am waiting till I get home so that I will be there if anything goes wrong.

Day after second dose. I am probably at half the amount of hair algae and the red algae took a beating and is probably at about 2/3 what it once was. No noticeable signs of damage to anything in the tank.

Apparently clowns have a natural hatred for grammas. My clowns chase my new grammas around.

Updated FTS. Algae fix really worked well on hair algae. Not so much red slime but I can live with that better than hair. Also got some new rocks that I added to fill it out some more and give me more places to put new corals. What do you all think?
New brain coral too.
