I think you would be surprise how easy it is to keep small tank with soft corals.I ate my fish that died.

My wife has a small 2 1/2 gallon with a coralife t5 fuge light over it and it keeps softies with no problems and has a perc and a b&w she loves itComment

Cool! I've always heard bigger is better when you are starting SW, especially as a newb, but I'm mostly just interested in the corals...so that's doable in a nano/pico set up?? It's a triangle but to the points it's about 2x2. Something is going on with my pink hammer. Haven't seen anything attack it and nothing else like SPS or elegance is having any problems. Thinking I am seeing tissue recession.Comment

Nah haven't changed anything. I did notice the MP were getting clogged with algae so I cleaned them yesterday and had to dial the flow back after because the algae was slowing the flow a lot. This morning it is looking better but the elegance is next to it and nothing happened to it so I don't know.Comment

Side note I picked up a 250w electronic ballast and hooked one up yesterday. It had no model number on it so I hoped it was a 120V. Wrong it was a 240. Fixture started smoking but turned it off quick let it cool and re-installed the oem ballast and the lights still work. Now I got to sell the ballasts and go look for a 120V.Comment
