ok i was looking at my rocks today,, my tank is a fowlr has been running over 2 months now and everything seems fine,, but today i see i have one little thing growing on my live rock that i have no idea if it is a pest or not,, it is like a little white stem i would say a quarter of an inch and it is hollow and has like a black/blue worm or something coming out of the center of it moving around, and it retracts back in the stem when it senses movement i have no idea what this is please help!

I think I saw a picture on marsh or even here in one of those "what's in my live rock?!" threads. It sounds like a Caribbean rock boring worm. Again a picture is the only way to know. 99% of the time those kinds of worms are harmless.75 planted (Being Renovated)
