Didn't you just setup this tank? Maybe its a non cycled tank that's killing your fish not the temp

My temp was 78, when I woke up, it was between 71 and 70. I will look into getting some test kits, have any recommendations for some good test kits?

Re: Stupid parents and the air conditioner

Maybe we all should report this thread as a violation against parents in general.

I was offended by the title and contents of OP but don't know what grounds to report it on.

The water, to test if it's cycled so I can put this idea of not cycled to rest.

I tried to keep it to myself but CRY ABOUT IT SUNNY!

+1 on the Titanium type heaters. Ti heaters are really accurate and not only that, they're unbreakable! City Pets has them for $40 which is stupid cheap for a Ti heater. The good name brand Ti heaters are really expensive.

Now you guys are just being ridiculous. Please stop wasting my time by making me come break up these unnecessary arguments.

No name-calling. It's really easy...if you don't like the thread, DON'T READ IT. If you don't like a post, DON'T RESPOND TO IT.

Let me just point something out...the job that I do during the day, that I am pulled away from to deal with all this bickering, is the one that PAYS FOR HFB. Do I have to take HFB offline so I can have a full day of work without having to clean up a thread? This has become a big problem recently and it's getting pretty frustrating.

I'm going out to look for a test, I ordered a 150 watt heater but I might exchange for a 100w. Would a 150 watt be okay or will it over heat my tank?
