What kind of filter? Gph? Any power heads? What are you planning on stocking the tqnk with? Corals?

Good call on the de-stocking, hope we didn't come across all know it all ish, just want your tank to be a success so you stay in the hobby as long as you want! As for circulation, as it a a short tank, one of those pumps would probably be enough, if you do decided to go with both, maybe one at the front and one at the back, but point them directly at each other to try to get random flow rather than a cyclone effect

i have 2 aquaclear 70 on it at 300 gph each. i use one for a hob refigum the other has the filter pads etc.
I have a cpr hob skimmer.
Just ordered 2 marineland 600 powerheads knot sure the best way to position them.
I think just the clown fish might look to add some pom poms eventuially .

The 2 hob should be enough for that tank. You shouldnt need the powerheads

newst.jpg this is the most recent pic i have.
took out the live rock with the hair algae.
Made like a crecent U with the sea grass in the middle.
Left about 2 or 3 inches all the way around to let more flow around everything.

Seems that way. Just feel like its not efficent enough. Like dead spots you know.
I know it may be in part due to the layout of the tank. (live rock)
The way i just put everything seems a little better. wish i could do a overflow with a sump but not alot of room with the spool stand. :/

Thank you sir, I thought it was a yellow tang but this fish isn't a regular yellow tang. I'm still researching it lol. Thanks for the livestock, I ended up picking up some more livestock at petco on the way back at a super cheap price! I got an anemone for $7 and a pair of maroon clowns for $30!! Shoot me a text if you have any questions about livestock or for anything else that comes up.
                          .

I went to one in Houston, gonna have to check out the Katy one. you need a qt.tank though, nothing buy bad reviews about petcos sw fish.

I think its a mimic lemon peel. supposedly gonna grow big and change colors drastically, we'll see

I surely hope you have a quarantine tank if buying fish at petco. Just saying. Will save you some pains, trust me , seen it too many times, especially with newbies.
