Are shrimp okay with strong flow ?

    1/2 gallon jar
i thought it was a 10 gallon per hour power head but it looks more like 40-60 gallon per hour.
i have a duck bill that makes an almost Perfect circular flow.

My jar tank has a strong flow, it will be great for coral but it seems too strong for shrimp or small fish

I'll let a salt keeper respond, I can say but it's best to have all relevant info in one thread. What are you using for your flow again?

Can't agree more. What flow? Gph? Some people think 500gph is strong flow while others may be thinking 4000gph is nothing.

I would think that at over 100x per hour, that is too much for any live stock other than some corals. Especially if the pump is a power head... what is a duck bill??!? And in such a small aquarium, do you really want anything in there? It'll make maintenance and everything harder (I assume you are referring to sexy shrimp)
