I don't have the cahoonas to try cutting the stuff myself. I had someone from marsh-reef make me the baffles. They are very well done. He left all edges that get siliconed un polished, then all visible sides are micro beveled and polished. Top notch quality

He made my overflow, baffles. I'll be having him make me my frag racks too. It's not cheap, but if I try doing it myself, I'll go through double the material and still look pitiful in comparison

I'm probably insulting him with my ****ty silicone job. He said its the right way to go if I don't mind a little diy with price. It was 100.00 for the baffles, 50 for the overflow. But if I had him make the 40g tank out of silicone, that would add probably 200+ to the price just in materials. Stuff isnt cheap

FYI, use one of these from Home Depot for straight cuts on acrylic :

That's how I cut baffles for my sumps. Clamp on a metal straight edge, start scoring (both sides on thick sheets), snap off along the line

Added the overflow. Fits nicely. Still enough room to maneuver street elbows around the euro brace of the tank

So I bought a house, and unfortunately my living room doesn't have much wall space. Wall of windows, bar top, fireplace etc etc. So I have to go a different route and needed a Peninsula style tank to save on space. I got a hold of a 150g 48x24x30tall RR peninsula tank which will go perfectly. I'll be starting a new build thread!
