what is wrong with my anemone it has been doing this:

Water quality is good. I haven't changed the flow or lighting since I got it 2 months ago. It has been great up untill a couple of days ago.Originally posted by thekarens

I really don't think the chromis or the mandrian is hurting the anemone. Maybe the clowns or the crabs.

I've been doing some research and everything I'm reading on anemones closing up like that says it's normal. They say it will close up after eating sometimes, and at night to sleep. I also read that if it is sick and dying, it will feel tacky to the touch. And if it starts oozing anything, get it out immediately because it's decaying and will really crap up the tank.
