    This little guy came from a piece of dry rock that I picked up. He's been roaming around the tank a bit. Looks like a skinny assassin snail with black/white color instead of orange/black. Is it a good or bad critter to have?

    Actually, he probably came from my sand. It was still slightly damp towards the bottom of bucket, so I'm sure he could live fine in it.

      Hmmmm, my guess is it's a dwarf cerith snail.

      If it is....those are reef safe and a good part of the CUC.
      I ate my fish that died.

        some type of cerith snail not sure of the genus and species.
        25g - Reef

        10g - Ichthyophthirius multifilis breeding colony

            I cant say 100% as you mostly see Cerithium sp. and i know they are reef safe but I believe this is from another genus in the same family Cerithiidae.
            25g - Reef
