  • I think total tank volume is about 4g. I do 1-2 SOLO cup worth.

To be completely honest, I don't own any test kits nor a refractometer. I recently borrowed one from my brother cause I was too lazy to go buy ready-made water so I couldn't answer your question.

But from what I've read up, nothing like other corals that have to build their own hard skeleton/base/whateverit'scalled.

Yea after I posted that I realized that's why lps and sps consume so much calcium. After cutting the nem did you notice and fluids or anything? Not concerned about it fouling the water? Sorry so inquisitive lol.

      • It didn't have much gunk come out of it, I cut it on the napkin and didn't see much of any outside of the water it was expelling to begin with.

The guts look like intestines but it's kept close to the body, It sat looking like roadkill for maybe a minute and then it started to close together to form a circle again.

Didn't even give the fouling a thought, I think what I have in the tank is hardy enough though so unless it starts to smell or get cloudy, I should be good.

naw, it was close to the edge of the rocks and I wanted to give it a try. If it heals good and in a timely manner I'm gonna break the tank down again to pull them all out to cut them in half.

If it heals fast I plan to double my stock and cutting them all in half.
How are you pulling them off the rocks with out hurting them? Mine is grabbing hold tight

I just get an edge of the foot with my finger and from there I works it off.
