do you check the salinity of the premade sw from city pets before you put them in the tank?
if not make sure you check it before you change them into the tank...
last time it was at noon time on sunday, when i was filling the water in the store, i figured something is not right, the water was a little blurry. i guess they just mixed it or something...

thai is right...
its not that important at your stage...wont hurt your lr or ls...
but later on when everything is ready, and you have corals in it...just make sure to check it everything you bought water home...
and do you planning to put a nano skimmer too?Comment

There is brown stuff on the sand bed I assume this is bacteria colonies? I also added my koralia nano for more flow.Comment

the brown stuff is diatoms....and that's a natural occurance in a cycling sw set up.....and a good sign too.....Comment

Its spreading so if its a good sign then its going great. I just got my shipment in the refractometer is way cool it seems to be solid and not cheap. And the ATO is totally cool there are three modes you can set it at but I choose the one that will not allow my resevoir pump to go dry very cool trick. I would have set up the ATO but forgot to by tubes for the pump I bought so I need to go to the store. I tested the water and it came up with an SG of 1.022 I want it to be at 1.025 correct or is mine fine?
