So I did the lime juice on the aiptasia and that sucker was pissed. The other coral I thought was aiptasia is actually a tiny Kenya tree. It is growing where I used to have one at. Also did the treatment of flatworm exit. One note when they say dont underestimate the amount of flatworms in your tank take your best estimate and multiply it by 100. I thought ok there will be a lot even after suctioning as many as I can. Within 5 minutes of watching the tank after putting the drops in I saw FW coming out of everywhere even places I swore I just suctioned and blasted with a turkey baster. One coral was almost completely covered with them. Then all the sudden it started to snow FW. There had to be a few hundred, it was ridiculous. So I have about a 1.5lb bag of carbon in the tank to filter out all of the toxins and what not. Plan on doing a WC tomorrow. Not sure if this killed them all since I saw so many but we will see.

So the outcome is one of my SPS died out in a little area. But I don't see any FW on their usual hang out spots.

So my 6 line is doing pretty good. But I swear he is waiting on my cleaner shrimp to make a wrong move. He hovers around him and goes in to attack but the shrimp swats him with his tentacles or jumps back. And then the chess match starts again.

Man Mg and KH has a big impact on the tank. Never realized how much it does. My coraline on my rocks are going crazy. I am starting to be able to control my KH levels, its slowly rising. I dose about 1oz a day.

I was wondering that same thing a new months back.

You got a good amount of LPS, SPS, and coraline growth.

I thought you would have lower then normal levels of Alk without dosing.

So, are you now dosing one part of two part solution or you doing lime water?

Adding Kalk to the ATO and then adding Ca, Mg, and Alk manually to raise the levels. Actually havent been dosing Ca because that stuff is off the charts right now. But my Alk had been at around 7dKH. But after dosing about 1 oz per day its finally gotten to 9 dKH.

whats the mag at now? I just noticed i've been doing my mag test wrong.. Stupid elos test...

i was filling up 5ml tank water when i was suppose to use 3ml. So i thought my mag was like 1200... but it was really 1400ppm. Doesn't matter too much since mag doesn't really impact the tank that much. But my coraline growth jumped up big time.
