Ok dont use JB weld it doesnt hold it cant take the pressure from the bulb pushing against the fixture. It is holding good enough to make contact right now but I will have to figure something else out to get it to hold.

i placed them just on the sand bed...
with your mh light...it should be good to place them on sand bed also...
you can move them higher..
