ADA Mini-L

Anyone else use metal halide? I'm changing bulbs around and my coral ain't liking them at all. They were ok under led, and t5. 10k coralife they all stayed ok, 14k jbj and everything closed up quick and stayed that way for about 2 weeks. Switched back to t5 and everything is happy again.

Does this seem normal?

14k jbj isn't a very good bulb. from what i've heard and experience.

I am using a 20K Coralife bulb. Maybe the light was too close and they were not ready for the intensity.

The bigger ADA tanks are drillable. the smaller ones are not.

Nope, still paying soymilk (thanks again) for it. Just to clarify, you may have SEEN small ADA tanks drilled like the one at FG. Most of the small ADA tanks are 5mm up to 45-p and mini-L. 60-p is 6mm. 75p is like 8mm. 90p is like 10mm and so on. I would not drill anything less than 8mm glass thickness. FG cracked 2 ADA tanks before getting the third one right and they drill tanks everyday for a living.
