Pic of said clam pls.
Let me see how you made out. My clams are getting better. They look better as they grow. My blue one was kinda janky but now it has a bunch of purple fluorescent spots everywhere. LEDs make them glow big time.

Clam is closed. I'll post pictures if I catch it open tomorrow.
Still disappointed by the sizes of the clam regardless of color.
but it evens out with the dendro. These are big too. Three heads and they all ate tonight.I ate my fish that died.

Do you feed your scans daily?

I don't feed them they. I feed them whenever I'm bored. A small acan head can easily take down a full size PE mysis very easily.
I try not to feed them too much b/c I have to feed 6 dendro heads and my gorg.
Nitrates are a little high in my tank.
But I removed the filter sock all together and the skimmer been working good. Hopefully have some major water changes the nitrates levels will come down.I ate my fish that died.

UltaClam
Special food for filter feeders, like Tridacna clams, Lima sp. and other species. Increases growth, coloration and disease resistance. Also ideal for other filter feeders in combination with UltraMin S and UltraMin F.
Dosing recommendation for Clams and photosynthetic corals (Hard corals etc.):
Mix UltraClam and UltraMin S to a stiff MASH. Add as much UltraMin S until a small (1-2 mm) supernatant forms and leave standing the food over night. The next day the supernatant should have disappeared. Now add more UltraMin S until you have a small supernatant again, and leave the food standing for a few hours. You can store the food mix for about a week.
For every 1000 L (250 gal) add 5 - 10 ml of the food mix several times per day. To disperse the food, drop it slowly into the outlet of a pump. The total amount of food is depending on the nutrient concentration in the aquarium, the lower the nutrient concentration, the less food is necessary.
Dosing recommendation for Gorgonias (Sea Fans) and Sponges:
Mix 30 % UltraClam, 30 % UltraMin F, 40 % Cyclop Eeze and UltraMin S to a stiff Mash.
Add as much UltraMin S until a small (1-2 mm) supernatant forms and leave standing the food over night. The next day the supernatant should have disappeared. Now add more UltraMin S until you have a small supernatant again, and leave the food standing for a few hours. You can store the food mix for about a week.
Dosing recommendation for very small polyped Gorgonias (Sea Fans), delicate sponges, Dendronephtyas, Ascidians (Sea Squirts) and other non-photosynthetic Animals:
Mix 70 % Ultra Clam 10 %, Ultra-Pac and 20 % Ultra-Life with Ultra-Min S to a stiff Mash. Add as much UltraMin S until a small (1-2 mm) supernatant forms, now add 1 ampoule UltraBio.
Leave the food standing the food over night. The next day the supernatant should have disappeared. Now add a few drops of Ultra-Booster and more UltraMin S until you have a small supernatant again, and leave the food standing for a few hours. You can store the food mix for about a week.
When keeping non-photsynthetic corals frequent feeding and strong filtration are an absolute necessity. Please contact us for advice.I ate my fish that died.

Ulta Sesfan
Natural food particles, combined with specific proteins, are the recipe for success of our new feed on the attitude of colored corals and other filter feeders. With UltraSEAFAN can azooxanthellate horn corals successfully cultivate and multiply there.
The novel food particles are precisely tailored to the needs of horn corals and can be easily absorbed by them.
Marine proteins, natural plankton as well as special enzymes and carriers get the nutrients through optimal particle size directly to the corals without additional water pollution. UltraSEAFAN will also be eaten like other corals.
DOSE:
UltraSEAFAN should be admitted to the aquarium regularly in small doses. An optimal effect is obtained in connection with UltraMins and UltraORGANIK.I ate my fish that died.
