    Yeah, it's an algae foo.

    You can take a tooth brush to it.

    Just take the rock out during a water change.

    Put the rock in the old water and brush the algae off.

    Nutrient levels must be low in your tank for the algae to not be growing....that's a good sign.

      its gonna take off all the sudden...
      they spread like crazy...they dont just spread from that source rock, they will appear in different places in the tank...
      better remove it while you can...

                  Wire brushed almost half the rock, looks so sad. Hope they grow back quick.

                            Nice pics man. Be careful with them torches, sometimes they send out a sweeper tentacle like 2-3 inches long and sting whatever

                            How you liking them coralife fixtures? How much did you get them for?

                                I got both fixtures for 250 total. I like them alot, just a bit wide though. I may move the torch somewhere by itself. It gets pretty long sometimes.
