Ok did some rescapping and found out hammers dont hurt us unless you have an open cut and they touch it. Damn thing hurts like pouring hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes.

Hammers are super strong. Mad aggressive!
My painted hammer brushed up on a bunch of mushrooms and now the mushrooms are melting away. Hope they recover....but it don't look good.I ate my fish that died.

Had to look up effects on humans cause it stung like a biss and wifey was worried. Asking why weren't you wearing gloves. Was like i cant get the feeling moving around. No problems unless you are allergic to the toxins. Same family of toxins as the torches. Just burns for a little while then you are good to go.Comment

Yeah, hammers, frogspawn, and touches are in the same family. All aggressive and strong. They send out sweepers at night some times too.
Im mixing my hammers and frogspawn with no problems but some reported issues on other forums.I ate my fish that died.

I think the lights are killing my SPS. I checked nitrogen and all are good by all SPS except acro are dying. LPS are doing fine though. Oh well was going to change most of them out for LPS anyways.Comment

Dying or just closed up? I don't think it's the lights. If anything the Lps should bleach out before the lights affect the sps. Prob stress from the move.Comment

No dying they are bleaching out. I thought about that but stress from what? There hasn't been a change in water params. Only change is the light I figured it's too much of s change and since all LPS are on the sand they were able to cope better.Comment

sometimes it takes a while for the sps to get used to the new light. Are you running 4 or 6 bulbs? If you're not seeing flesh falling off it'll be ok. They should recover.Comment

Damn son haha, run 4 bulb. No wonder they bleaching. Ati fixtures don't play, They serious business. I've seen people use 6 bulbs to light up a 90 gallon.
They might not look as intense as metal halide but trust me, they push out serious par. Make sure that fan is set to 9vComment
