Can anyone tell me if I should get a shrimp or a snail for this little tank? I figure its so small I can only get 1.

Stick to small snails, reefcleaners ships out tiny cleaners so you could put a few in there.

in that tank I think you could do 2-3 sexy shrimp or some different anemone shrimp.

Check out the reefcleaners cleanup package. I think they have the scientific names listed under there.

These little snails I got were bull****tin, just picked up a turbo and a skrimp. And a Goby.

I have the same sand in a 5 gallon and let me tell you it's a pita... i'll be switching to some caribsea special grade and will be setting up another 2.5 gallon with that as well. And as stated before sexy shrimp would be good for your tank.
