OH OH OH!! FIRST POST!!! i always wanted a mantis shrimp, got a 10g for it, then do more reading about glass breakage and such... droped that idea and turn it into a planted puffer tank... any keepers here?? i guess i'll try again next summer

Mantis shrimp are like saltwater cockroaches imo. We had a couple of them in our reef tank. They had hitch hiked in on some live rock. We eventually trapped the nasty things and said "bye bye!" Personally I wouldn't worry about them breaking the glass of a 10g.KarenComment

my org idea was to setup 2 10 sw tanks, one for live food and the other for the mantis shrimp... after figuring the amount it would cost to get all the stuff, reading about breaking thin glass... but i think i will go for it next summer...Comment
