Try looking on ebay for overflows and pumps.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

To be honest with u, I don't know what size pump (like gph) I am to get. And I guess overflow box for 75g is good enough?

Should be. If you get a pump that pumps at least 4 times the volume of water in your tank, you should be good. So if you get an Eheim 1250 (317gph), that should be perfect. The overflow can only "Overflow" however much water is going into the tank. I have a 1250 running with my overflow (One inch U pipe) on my 29 gallon, and the overflow can drain a lot more water, if I wanted to put a bigger return pump in my sump.

If you have anymore questions, just ask. :)

I weren't going to say anything else but don't think people give their 2c just to bug you.

            You have a free 55G, that costs < $100.
You are going to spend ~$200 for the overflow, sump, $100 for a skimmer, $50+ for pump(s), $100-200 for rocks, sands, some $ for light ... at a minimum ... just so you can keep 2 dwarf angels and a clown fish?
            Oh well, it's your money.

              Rage,
I wasn't on planning just to keep those 3 fishes. FOR NOW, yes. Like I said, I'm new to this and don't wanna be overdoing everything and having everything die on me. One small step at a time. That's why I went from 29g Nano to 55g. So if you can understand why I'm asking all these questions. I'm sure everyone started out small or cheap fish/corals and thats all I'm doing right now. I'm still learning. And I can always take those angels and trade them or give them away once I become more experience in SW. So I'm sorry if it sounds dumb to just start buying things just to keep like 3 fish in 55g tank.

I understand you want to start small but you don't want to spend money on items you won't be able to use later on when you go bigger.

The problem with a 55G is that you can't keep anything else except for a few small fish and the equipment you buy for a 55G is not likely to be useful later.

Its width is 12" which mean the sump you buy will have to be a little smaller, and the skimmer has to be smaller ... If you buy a hang on back overflow, you won't have the use for it when you get a bigger tank with built-in overflow ...

You already have a 29G, experiment with it. You can keep small fish in it as well. The clown fish for sure. For angels, the ones you mentioned may eat your corals but there are others that don't, like a "Coral beauty" or a "Flame" angel.

                It's just my 2c.

Ok I got u. That's why I couldn't understand why ppl were like telling me 55g is like nothing. Now I understand that you guys were thinking about using those things for bigger tanks and it'll be useless. Thank you for your input and clarification. I just have to play with this 55g for a while until budget (having ajob) gets better. Yeah, I was thinking about the Flame angel for later on. Again, thanks for everyone's help and I'm sorry if I came out offensive. NOW...on with this expensive hobby!

Thanks to David at City Pets for hooking me up with overflow box, tubings, pump, and k2 for my tank. Gave me a great deal. Now I just need to find someone selling their sand and some live rocks and I'm ready to roll. Getting a coralife pc light (4 bulb 65w) from someone for $100. Is that good price for used one?

The PC light does very little for corals. They surely can't be used for SPS.
If you just want fish, a shop light is enough.

Ok. Well the guy said its good enough for mainly fish with little coral. Like a used car salesman, I guess. SALE SALE SALE. What about a T5 for what I want in tank? From all the reviews, its sufficient for corals. But I just want some advice. Thanks.

A T5 should be good for your tank.

Ok thanks. Was thinking of Wavepoint T5 2 bulb (rather have the 4). Gotta see if craigslist or ebay have any. If not then LFS. Or hopefully someone here or marshreef have one if they upgrading to mh.

Finally got all the equipment I need and tank has been running for about 1 wk now. Gonna get some CUC later on and will hopefully post some pics up. Transfer fishes over from my nano. Thanks to all for suggestions and items.

                                Current USA T5 4x HO
                                Eshoppe overflow box
                                Wet/dry box
                                About 40lbs of LR
                                Black mixed with white sand
                                2 K2
(Thinking of getting a small enough skimmer that would fit under the tank so I don't have to do frequent WC. Any suggestions on brand and size?)
