Aggresive tank?

Thinking about setting one up, what's the smallest size tank I could get away with (safetly) for an eel and maybe a puffer or trigger? Don't know too much about triggers, eels, or puffers. Do think they are interesting though. Any advice would be appreciated.

100 gallons minimum. and that doesn't include the trigger. triggers need 150. I've never understood the aggressive tanks. I know it's "cool" to have mean fish and all but when it comes down to it, you have a huge tank and probably 2 fish in it. seems like a waste of space to me, but thats just me.
