Hydor Flo Rotating Water Deflector

Anyone ever use these? Trying to figure out a way to get some random water flow without dropping $200 on a wave maker. I'm going to be upgrading my main circulation pump, to either a Maxi Jet 1100 or 1800 turned down a little, in the next few months.

I was thinking about buying this for my biocube 29. I have the mj1200 as my return pump. It looks like it does a good job. The biocube set up at fish gallery has it installed on it.

Thanks for the replies! For the price if it doesn't work out no biggy, but if it does, it will save me some $$$.
