New 90P

I bought a new 90P the other day. I want to make it salt water with some coral and 1 or 2 fish. Adivce on water filtration/skimmer please. Make and model #"s please. I like the CPR overflow, what else in terms of sumps, skimmer, pumps,etc. I have a good 4 lamp light fixture, but what Kelvin rating lamp(s) would you all recommend.

I once had a 90p reef, beautiful dims. My skimmer was a Bubble Magnus NAC 7, reef octopus reactor, ehiem 1250 return pump. This setup could handle a way bigger system.

Don't forget 2xAL lights and vortech pump! It was a pimp set up son. Should had kept it up.

If none RR, this tank must have a mame overflow. Absolutely a must.

No clams, this I know. Thinking of a small yellow or purple tang and Flame Angel. Want the easiest (hardiest)coral I can get,Mushrooms,brains etc.

OK, it would be best to stay away from keeping anything where you have to dose. So no calm, SPS, or NPS. When I get on a desktop I'll post a list with links to equipment I would get for a 90p.

Softies = zoas, mushrooms, ricordea, yumas, leathers, etc....any coral that don't have bones basically.

LPS = large polyps stoney = hammers, acans, troches, frogspawn, brains, etc.

SPS = small polyps stoney = Monti, acros, etc.

NPS = nonphotosyntheic corals = sun corals, denros, gorgs, etc.

Softies and LPS are easier to keep. The water can be a little dirty and the corals will still be OK.

There was only one shipment to a US distributor in late 2010 if memory serves me correctly. There are no more shipments coming to retailers due to a number of problems with that first shipment. Mine came from this first batch. I have seen them for sale from time to time on different reef forums.

There has been talk on nano reef about ordering direct from Japan to the US but naturally prices will be a little higher. You might fine one on nanoreef.

Regarding fuge size, I would get the biggest sump that fit under the stand. Biggger is better.
